The Polhemus InsideTrak is married with Softimage channel drivers. By using up to two sensors per PC compatible board, you will obtain six degrees of freedom per sensor for positional control. You can capture hand, head or body inputs for human animations; or simply use a sensor attached to your hand to realistically portray the flight of an eagle, the motion of a boat on the high seas or a lion stalking its prey. You can capture motion and see your results in real-time - instantly, you get to produce a realistic final product. For more sensor inputs, simply install additional PC boards.
